H.R. No. 61       R E S O L U T I O N          WHEREAS, Sergeant Daniel Gaskamp is retiring from the   Washington County Sheriff's Office on August 31, 2025, concluding a   half century of distinguished service in law enforcement; and          WHEREAS, This dedicated peace officer began his career with   the Brenham Police Department, where he worked for 37 years; in   1995, he was recognized with the Counter Attack on Crime Award from   Associated Texans Against Crime; following his service with Brenham   PD, he joined the Washington County Sheriff's Office, and he has   served that agency for more than a decade; and          WHEREAS, Sergeant Gaskamp's skill, expertise, and commitment   to public safety have greatly benefited the citizens of Brenham and   Washington County, and he may indeed reflect with pride on his many   accomplishments as he embarks on a well-deserved retirement; now,   therefore, be it          RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas   Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby congratulate Sergeant   Daniel Gaskamp on his retirement from the Washington County   Sheriff's Office and extend to him sincere best wishes for the   future; and, be it further          RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be   prepared for Sergeant Gaskamp as an expression of high regard by the   Texas House of Representatives.     Wharton     ______________________________   Speaker of the House                 I certify that H.R.
