AN ACT

 

amending section 9-246, arizona revised statutes; relating to town common councils.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  Section 9-246, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended to read:

START_STATUTE9-246.  Publication of financial statement; posting requirement

The common council shall, at least ten days before the biennial election, shall publish in a newspaper published in the town, or if there is none, then shall post in three or more public places in the town, a full and correct statement of all monies received into the treasury of the town since the last report, and the sources from which they were severally derived, and also of all disbursements and expenditures and the account upon on which the disbursement was made. The statement shall be posted on the town's website, if any, at least ten days before the biennial election. END_STATUTE
