AN ACT

 

Appropriating monies to the university of Arizona.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1. Appropriation; University of Arizona; hypersonic wind tunnel; report

A. The sum of $3,500,000 is appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2021-2022 to the University of Arizona for materials, labor and installation costs related to the research, development and infrastructure upgrades of a hypersonic wind tunnel.

B. On or before December 15, 2021, the University of Arizona shall submit a report on the progress of the research, development and infrastructure upgrades of the hypersonic wind tunnel to the governor, the president of the senate and the speaker of the house of representatives and shall provide a copy of this report to the secretary of state.
