H.R. No. 112       R E S O L U T I O N          WHEREAS, Mary Bejarano of Hornedo Middle School has been   named the 2025 Secondary Teacher of the Year in the El Paso   Independent School District; and          WHEREAS, A solid education is vital for young people to   become successful and productive adults, and those men and women   who dedicate their careers to teaching make a positive difference   in the lives of their students and in the greater community; and          WHEREAS, An English language arts and reading teacher,   Ms. Bejarano works to promote student growth by providing an   engaging and inclusive learning environment and by developing   strong partnerships within the campus community; widely admired for   her kindness and positivity, she frequently goes above and beyond   her duties to support the emotional well-being of her students   while also demonstrating exceptional teamwork with her colleagues;   and          WHEREAS, Mary Bejarano exemplifies the passion,   determination, and innovative spirit that are the hallmarks of our   best teachers, and she has set a standard of excellence to which all   in her profession may aspire; now, therefore, be it          RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas   Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby congratulate Mary Bejarano   on her selection as the 2025 Secondary Teacher of the Year in the El   Paso Independent School District and extend to her sincere best   wishes for continued success with her important work; and, be it   further          RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be   prepared for Ms. Bejarano as an expression of high regard by the   Texas House of Representatives.     Perez of El Paso     ______________________________   Speaker of the House                 I certify that H.R.
