89S20324 AMB-D     By: Hinojosa H.R. No. 26       R E S O L U T I O N          WHEREAS, Michael Rye, an art teacher at the Rosedale School,   has been named a 2025 Teacher of the Year in the Austin Independent   School District; and          WHEREAS, Every year, each Austin ISD campus nominates one   educator to represent their school as a Teacher of the Year; this   accolade recognizes outstanding individuals who demonstrate a   commitment to Austin ISD's mission, vision, and values; and          WHEREAS, A solid education is vital for young people to   become successful and productive adults, and those men and women   who dedicate their careers to teaching make a positive difference   in the lives of their students and in the greater community; and          WHEREAS, Michael Rye exemplifies the passion, determination,   and innovative spirit that are the hallmarks of our best teachers,   and he has set a standard of excellence to which all in his   profession may aspire; now, therefore, be it          RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas   Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby congratulate Michael Rye of   the Rosedale School on his selection as an Austin ISD 2025 Teacher   of the Year and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued   success with his important work; and, be it further          RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be   prepared for Mr. Rye as an expression of high regard by the Texas   House of Representatives.
