89S20335 HMR-D     By: Hinojosa H.R. No. 25       R E S O L U T I O N          WHEREAS, Bertha Saucedo, a third-grade English as a second   language teacher at Jaime Padrón Elementary School, has been named   a 2025 Teacher of Promise in the Austin Independent School   District; and          WHEREAS, Every year, each Austin ISD campus nominates one   first-year educator to represent their school as a Teacher of   Promise; this accolade recognizes individuals who are   student-centered and enthusiastic and who actively participate in   improving their campus environments; and          WHEREAS, A solid education is vital for young people to   become successful and productive adults, and those men and women   who dedicate their careers to teaching make a positive difference   in the lives of their students and in the greater community; and          WHEREAS, Bertha Saucedo exemplifies the passion,   determination, and innovative spirit that are the hallmarks of our   best teachers, and she has set a standard of excellence to which all   in her profession may aspire; now, therefore, be it          RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas   Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby congratulate Bertha   Saucedo on her selection as the 2025 Teacher of Promise at Jaime   Padrón Elementary School and extend to her sincere best wishes for   continued success with her important work; and, be it further          RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be   prepared for Ms. Saucedo as an expression of high regard by the   Texas House of Representatives.
