89S20271 EME-D     By: Dyson H.R. No. 65       R E S O L U T I O N          WHEREAS, Leslea Hoffpauir has greatly benefited the students   and faculty of International Leadership of Texas Aggieland High   School in College Station as a founder and the president of its   Parent-Teacher Organization; and          WHEREAS, ILTexas is a free public charter school system with   26 locations in the Lone Star State; ILTexas provides students with   the skills, knowledge, and values necessary to become exceptional   servant leaders in our increasingly interconnected global society;   and          WHEREAS, Aggieland High opened in 2021, and that year,   Mrs. Hoffpauir helped organize the school's PTO; since that time,   she has distinguished herself through her leadership and commitment   to the educational community; in addition to working with teachers   and departments to develop fundraisers, she has assisted with   countless events, including homecoming dances, winter formals,   proms, and a popular March basketball tournament in which students   compete against faculty members; her creative talents were integral   to "Spooktacular," a haunted house-themed fall festival that draws   hundreds of visitors; for the event, she has designed costumes and   constructed activity booths, among other projects; and          WHEREAS, In all her endeavors, Mrs. Hoffpauir benefits from   the love and support of her husband, Richard, and they are the proud   parents of two children, Abigail, who is a senior at AHS, and   Maxwell; and          WHEREAS, Parent-teacher organizations promote the welfare of   children in schools and ensure a positive learning environment, and   it is a pleasure to recognize Leslea Hoffpauir for her extensive   efforts with the Aggieland High PTO; now, therefore, be it          RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas   Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby honor Leslea Hoffpauir for   her work as the cofounder of the Parent-Teacher Organization at   International Leadership of Texas Aggieland High School and extend   to her sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further          RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be   prepared for Mrs. Hoffpauir as an expression of high regard by the   Texas House of Representatives.
