89S20265 HMR-D     By: Dyson H.R. No. 66       R E S O L U T I O N          WHEREAS, A 60th wedding anniversary marks a lifetime of   mutual devotion and shared experiences, and Ed and Sandra Udell of   College Station are celebrating this joyous milestone in their   marriage on August 8, 2025; and          WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Udell were joined in matrimony in 1965;   over the years, they have been blessed with a treasured family that   includes their 5 children, 15 grandchildren, and 5   great-grandchildren; and          WHEREAS, Mr. Udell has worked in more than 19 industries, and   he has served as auxiliary bishop of global missions for the Christ   Holy Sanctified Church of America, as well as a community   consultant and a chaplain for the Buffalo Soldiers National Museum;   in addition to providing vital support to her husband, Mrs. Udell   worked in child care for more than three decades before her   retirement; respected members of their community, the couple has   been active in a number of local church organizations and   initiatives; and          WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Udell have enjoyed six decades of   abiding love and affection for each other, and they are among an   exceptional group of men and women who can claim such a lasting   commitment; now, therefore, be it          RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas   Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby congratulate Ed and Sandra   Udell on their 60th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere   best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further          RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be   prepared for the couple as an expression of high regard by the Texas   House of Representatives.
