A BILL to amend and reenact §8-29-6 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to allowing members of regional airport boards to be a resident of the municipality or county in which the airport is located.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:

ARTICLE 29. INTERGOVERNMENTAL RELATIONS -- REGIONAL AIRPORTS. §8-29-6. Qualification of members.

All membersMembers of the board of each authority shallmay be residentsa resident of either the municipality or county which saidthe members represent.

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to allow members of airport authorities to be a resident of either the municipality or county which the member represents.
