85R2462 JG-F     By: Davis of Harris H.B. No. 107       A BILL TO BE ENTITLED   AN ACT   relating to a human papillomavirus immunization report.          BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:          SECTION 1.  Subchapter A, Chapter 161, Health and Safety   Code, is amended by adding Section 161.01095 to read as follows:          Sec. 161.01095.  HUMAN PAPILLOMAVIRUS ANNUAL REPORT. (a)   The department shall submit a report on the immunization rates for   human papillomavirus in this state to the governor, lieutenant   governor, and speaker of the house of representatives not later   than January 31 of each year. The department shall publish the   report on the department's Internet website.          (b)  The report at a minimum must provide statistical   information on human papillomavirus immunizations for each county   in this state and this state for the preceding year, including:                (1)  the number of persons immunized for human   papillomavirus and the percentage of persons immunized for human   papillomavirus compared to the number of persons eligible for that   immunization;                (2)  the number of human papillomavirus vaccine doses   administered in total and in each dose interval;                (3)  the number of persons immunized for human   papillomavirus by age;                (4)  the number of persons immunized for human   papillomavirus by gender; and                (5)  a comparison between the number of human   papillomavirus vaccines administered and the number of other   recommended adolescent vaccines administered, including the   tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis, and meningococcal vaccines.          (c)  In creating the report, the department shall use data   from the vaccines for children program established by the   department as authorized by 42 U.S.C. Section 1396s or the   immunization registry established under Section 161.007.          SECTION 2.  This Act takes effect September 1, 2017.
