By: Perez of El Paso H.R. No. 108       R E S O L U T I O N          WHEREAS, Michael Neff of Montwood High School in El Paso has   been named the 2025 Secondary Teacher of the Year in the Socorro   Independent School District; and          WHEREAS, A solid education is vital for young people to   become successful and productive adults, and those men and women   who dedicate their careers to teaching make a positive difference   in the lives of their students and in the greater community; and          WHEREAS, A 10th-grade world history teacher at Montwood High,   Mr. Neff has served as an educator and coach for a decade; his   selection for this prestigious honor has been attributed to his   enthusiasm for teaching and his ability to motivate his students to   achieve their full potential; and          WHEREAS, Michael Neff exemplifies the passion,   determination, and innovative spirit that are the hallmarks of our   best teachers, and he has set a standard of excellence to which all   in his profession may aspire; now, therefore, be it          RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas   Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby congratulate Michael Neff   on his selection as the 2025 Secondary Teacher of the Year in the   Socorro Independent School District and that he be extended sincere   best wishes for continued success with his important work; and, be   it further          RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be   prepared for Mr. Neff as an expression of high regard by the Texas   House of Representatives.
