SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 38          WHEREAS, Sarah Hammond has distinguished herself in her   responsibilities as a legislative intern in the office of State   Senator Brent A. Hagenbuch during the summer of 2025 and the 1st   Called Session of the 89th Texas Legislature; and            WHEREAS, A student at The University of Texas,   Ms. Hammond has provided vital assistance in handling a wide   variety of challenging tasks during her internship, including   completing financial and legislative research and assisting   with special projects; in addition to gaining valuable   experience in the field of public service, she has learned more   about the legislative process and the issues facing citizens   of the Lone Star State; and            WHEREAS, Sarah Hammond has performed her duties as a   legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is indeed   deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now,   therefore, be it            RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 89th   Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby commend Sarah Hammond   for her service as a legislative intern in the office of State   Senator Brent A. Hagenbuch and extend to her sincere best wishes   for continued success in all her endeavors; and, be it further            RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be   prepared for Ms. Hammond as an expression of high regard from the   Texas Senate.     Hagenbuch                 ________________________________          President of the Senate               I hereby certify that the     above Resolution was adopted by     the Senate on September 4, 2025.                 ________________________________          Secretary of the Senate                 ________________________________           Member, Texas Senate
